Mother Brown is the Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Department of Women, Church Of God In Christ, New Jersey First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction where Bishop Martin L. Johnson is the Jurisdictional Prelate.

She is the wife of the late Deacon Willie E. Brown and the Mother of two: Mrs. Karen Brown Jeffress and Mr. Kenneth Brown. She has four grandchildren, LaTonya and Tyrone Jeffress; Timothy and Krystal Brown. Mother Brown is a people person and touchable. She has served in her local church, in the district and in the Jurisdiction. Because of her devotion and commitment to God and to the church she has been elevated in the Church.

Mother Olive L. Brown has worked untiringly in all phases of the Church arena. She is a graduate of the Newark Bible School, an extension of the Northeast Bible College. She received a Teacher’s Certificate from Evangelical Teacher Training Association. In addition to the various National Boards on which she serves she is the: • Coordinator for the Women’s International Convention, Church Of God In Christ, Inc. • Executive Secretary, National Department of Women • Executive Financial Officer, National Department of Women. More importantly she is Saved, Sanctified and Baptized with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. One of her favorite quotes is “A charge to keep I have and a God to glorify” and her song, among many others is “When I Think of The Goodness of Jesus and All He Has Done For Me, My Soul Cries out Hallelujah I Thank God For Saving Me.
